About

Publicly available information, gathered properly

DIGIPĒDA is an OSINT research practice in Latvia. The name says what we work with: the digital footprint a person or a company leaves in the open internet.

What OSINT means

OSINT is research based on open sources: public registers, websites, media, social networks, publicly available documents and images. None of these sources are closed, and none of them require access to anyone's account.

Our mission

To help people and companies understand publicly available information and make better-informed decisions.

We check each finding in at least two sources where possible. If something cannot be confirmed, the report marks it as unverified.

Principles

The rules we work by

Lawfulness

Only sources anyone can reach.

Objectivity

We do not invent context that is not there.

Data minimisation

We collect only what the task needs.

Verifiable sources

Every finding carries a link or a source.

Responsible use

The report is not a tool for harassment or pressure.

What we never do

Unauthorised access to accounts or systems

Obtaining passwords

Tracking inside closed sources
